In recent years Lola has invested heavily in new F1 standard infrastructure and insiders reckon that the company is now ready to enter Grand Prix racing. Although Lola boss Eric Broadley is willing to invest some Lola money in F1, he still needs to build up a stronger commercial structure to raise the money necessary. Wiggins has been brought in to look after the structuring of a team, although if the money cannot be found by the end of July it is likely that Lola will again delay its entry into Grand Prix racing.
