Stewart to work with Dave Price?

STEWART GRAND PRIX technical director Alan Jenkins last week visited the headquarters of Dave Price's DPS composite company to discuss the possibility of Price's company building chassis for the Stewart F1 team.

STEWART GRAND PRIX technical director Alan Jenkins last week visited the headquarters of Dave Price's DPS composite company to discuss the possibility of Price's company building chassis for the Stewart F1 team.

Price has previously produced chassis for Sauber before the Swiss team installed its own autoclave at Hinwil. DPS does a lot of work in F1 with Ferrari FDD, Sauber and several other teams. The company employs 60 people and at the moment its two autoclaves are in action 24 hours day.

Stewart is also believed to have visited another well-known composite company Advanced Composites, although Price is expected to get the nod. The Stewart team is hoping to have a chassis up and running by November, although we hear that the car will probably not actually run until early December.
