IN the finest traditions of French teams which never quite made it in Formula 1, Alain Prost is planning to try his hand at sports car racing - as we suggested would happen a few weeks ago. Prost, who is currently in training to take part in a stage of the Tour de France bicycle race, is expected to go into business in September with the aim of running a sports car team at Le Mans next year. It is expected that he will field a couple of the ex-factory Audis which dominated the event this year.
