Jackie Pretorious

A leading light on the South African domestic racing scene, Pretorious drove the Doug Serrurier-built LDS-Alfa in local events and unsuccessfully attempted to qualify the car for the 1965 Grand Prix at East London. He subsequently raced in the 1968 race in a Brabham-Climax BT11, then again in 1971 with a Brabham BT26A and in 1973 with one of Frank Williams's Iso Marlboro.
