Franco Rol
Rol was a keen and charming gentleman racer who drove a
Maserati A6GCM in the
1950 Monaco,
French and
Italian Grands Prix. He switched to an
OSCA 4500G for the
following year's Italian race and reverted to his Maserati again at
Monza in 1952. He retired after sustaining serious injuries on the 1953 Tour of Sicily.
