Loeb breaks his arm

World Rally Champion Sebastian Loeb has been pretty much unbeatable in recent years with his Citroen but on Wednesday, Loeb did not help his cause when he crashed while riding a mountain bike in Switzerland and broke his arm. Loeb was operated on by surgeons on Wednesday afternoon and hopes to be back in action as soon as possible. There are four rounds of the WRC left this year and Loeb needs just six more points to guarantee himself a third consecutive World Championship.

Loeb says that the accident occurreed when he was riding on a dirt road in a wood when the front wheel of his bike went into a hole and he was thrown over the handlebars and landed on his arm.
