Papis tries NASCAR

Former F1 driver Max Papis is to become a NASCAR driver when he joins McGill Motorsports to race a Chevrolet in the forthcoming Busch Series race at Watkins Glen. Papis has raced mainly in Champ Cars and the IRL in recent years but will try NASCAR for the first time as the team wants a driver who knows how to race on road courses. Most of the NASCAR men learned their trade on ovals and struggle on road tracks and so teams occasionally bring in road racers to get better results.
