A1 confirms Brands Hatch
As we suggested would happen last week the A1 Grand Prix series will kick off at Brands Hatch on September 18 this year. The announcement was made at the Autosport International show in Birmingham. The deal is for three years.
"I admire the innovation and enormous commitment of A1 GP together with the totally new concept of capitalising on the huge global interest in competition between nations," said Brands Hatch's Jonathan Palmer, "and providing a driving force for the development of motor race driving talent in many different countries, some of which would not normally get the chance to showcase their drivers."
