Terzi moving on?

The word on the street from the Williams factory in Grove is that the team's chief aerodynamicist Dr Antonia Terzi is leaving and her role will be taken by France's Loic Bigois. The 44-year-old Frenchman is a graduate of the famous Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers in Paris. He specialised in aerodynamics and after graduation worked for the Microturbo gas turbine company as an aerodynamics engineer until 1990 when he was recruited by Ligier, which was restructuring its technical team under Frank Dernie. Bigois stayed at Ligier until 1994 when, tired of the politics of the team at the time, he moved to Sauber. A year later he returned to Ligier and became head of research and development when Tom Walkinshaw took over the team in 1996. He went on to become the last technical director of the team before it was bought by Alain Prost. Prost brought in Alan Jenkins and Bigois accepted the role of chief designer but in 2001 he moved to Minardi for a year and then joined Williams in 2003.
