Toyota launches "all-new" evolution TF104

Panasonic Toyota Racing has unveiled its new TF104 in Cologne with the aim being to score points on a regular basis and get the team its first podium finish in F1.

This is the third year that Toyota has been racing in F1 and according to the new team boss Tsutomu Tomita the team is "looking to make real progress in relation to the top teams in Formula 1. The new car is a an evolution of the positive aspects of the TF103 but every part has been redesigned."

The team has taken note of the change to the F1 regulations which means that the engines must last for the last weekend.

"The need for reliability is more critical this year," said Tomita, "but I believe that we can be a regular points scorer and win our first podium."
