But is it art?

Jaguar Racing and Italian design studio Pininfarina have joined forces to produce an unusual livery for a Formula 1 Jaguar, based on the aerodynamic forces which are involved in running an F1 car. These have been represented visually using lines and colours ranging from yellow where forces are low to red where they are at their highest, while green and blue are used to represent the stresses that the air flow forces on to the machine and the driver.

The 'Jaguar Formula 1 Art of Speed' exhibition is to be seen at the Jaguar dealership in Bologna, Italy.

Pininfarina and Ford have been working closely together in recent years, notably on the Ford Streetka.
