A settlement for the small teams

The Formula 1 team bosses had a meeting after qualifying on Saturday and it seems that Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone agreed to help out the small teams to survive, dipping into Formula One funds rather than arguing over money which is regulated by the Concorde Agreement. It is believed that Minardi and Jordan Grand Prix will benefit from the decision. There will no doubt still be a certain amount of bad feeling between the various team bosses but Ecclestone's action is likely to stop the public warring which flared up on Friday in Montreal.
