Williams takes a look at Piquet Jr

Sir Frank Williams went for a day at the races on Monday, popping down to Silverstone to see the British Formula 3 Championship race and to take a look at Nelson Piquet Jr., the son of his former driver Nelson Piquet, who won the World Championship for Williams back in 1987. Piquet Jr. is currently on a roll, having recently won his first victory in the series. On Sunday he followed up with a second victory at Silverstone after the race leader Robert Dahlgren was penalized for a jumped start. The 17-year-old Piquet then held off Adam Carroll all the way to the flag.

Unfortunately for Piquet his hopes of impressing Williams on Monday ended at the start of the second race when his car suffered a mechanical failure.
