Imola decision due shortly

We hear from Italy that the authorities at Imola must decide in the next few days whether they wish to tear down the current pit facilities at the track or face losing the San Marino Grand Prix next year. The race has been under threat for some time because of the pressure from new events to take over European dates. The Imola contract is believed to come to an end this year and in order for a new contract to be granted considerable work must be done at the Italian circuit. The track will also need to come up with the money to pay for the F1 circus to come visiting...
