Badoer resting after his accident

Luca Badoer, the Ferrari third driver, did not make the trip to Malaysia in order to have some time off after his most recent crash while testing the new Ferrari F2003 GA. Badoer was not seriously hurt but doctors decided that the shunt, caused by a mechanical failure, had featured a sufficient impact to make a rest a good idea. Badoer, however, will be back in action on Tuesday. Ferrari decided to fly Felipe Massa, its second test driver, out to Malaysia to be on hand in case he is needed.
