A statue for Michael
Melbourne-based sculptor Mitch Mitchell is working flat out to finish a 3-metre high statue of Michael Schumacher in time for the Australian Grand Prix in five weeks from now. Mitchell is already well-known in Australia for his statue of Sir Donald Bradman is currently working 12-16 hours a day to get the bronze finished in time although he does not yet know where the statue will find a home. The Zimbabwean-born Mitchell visited Italy last year to see Schumacher.
