Mo Nunn expands in IRL

Morris Nunn Racing has officially announced its plans to switch to Toyota engines for 2003 and expand to become a two-car operation. Felipe Giaffone will be joined by another, as-yet-unannounced driver. MNR becomes Toyota's fourth IRL team joining Penske Racing, Target Chip Ganassi Racing and Kelley Racing.

At the moment MNR runs a Honda-engined car in the CART series for driver Tony Kanaan. He is moving to IRL next year with Andretti Green Racing and it is not clear whether or not Nunn, who used to own and run the Ensign F1 team in the 1970s, will be continuing the CART operation.
