Papis gets another chance

Former F1 driver Max Papis lost his drive in CART earlier this year when the Sigma Automotive team ran out of money. Papis, who drove for Arrows in the mid 1990s before heading off to America, has got a new chance in CART thanks to the injury which has meant that Adrian Fernandez will have to sit out the Mid-Ohio round of the series next weekend.

Papis previously drove for Bobby Rahal and won three races in 2000 and 2001 before being dropped by the team.
