Cantarella reassures the teams

THE boss of GPWC, Fiat chairman Paolo Cantarella sent out a letter to the Formula 1 team bosses in Barcelona, underlining the organization's commitment to starting its own World Championship in 2008 if no agreement can be found between the organization, Bernie Ecclestone and Kirch (or whoever owns the SLEC shares belonging to Kirch). Cantarella said that the organization would make a presentation to the teams later this summer about how the championship would be structured but there are several F1 team bosses who still feel that the GPWC is a bluff and the car manufacturers are not really serious about starting a new series.
