Ferrari announces launch date

WORLD CHAMPIONS Ferrari have announced that they will unveil the F2002 on Wednesday, February 6th at the factory in Maranello, and immediately begin testing it at Fiorano and Mugello.

The car is expected to have the new gearbox that the team has been working on, but little else is known of what to expect.

There are still rumors about whether the champions will start the season with the new car, or with an interim F2001, although the team officially says they expect to have the new car ready by the opening round in Melbourne on March 3rd.
