Reynard takes control of Reynard again
AS we predicted recently Rick Gorne has departed Reynard Racing Cars, having been unable to put together a deal to rebuild the company as he would have liked. Gorne took over as chief executive several months ago amid rumors that the company was on the verge of going out of business.
Reynard and Gorne were both shareholders in British American Racing but all links with that business have now been cut and the implication is that both men have sold out their shareholdings to Prodrive. It has been suggested in recent days that Gorne may be on the way back to BAR to help the new boss David Richards run operations.
