Disaster fund nets big prize from Indianapolis

THE Indianapolis Motor Speedway has raised $187,356 for the victims of the World Trade Center from its auction of F1 apparel worn by the drivers in this year's United States Grand Prix. The helmet worn by Michael Schumacher was sold for an astounding $55,200 . His brother's helmet was the second most valuable item and raised $25,100. Mika Hakkinen's race suit was sold for $20,300 while Juan Pablo Montoya's overalls fetched $13,099.
