Badoer escapes serious injury
FERRARI test-driver Luca Badoer escaped serious injuries after being rushed to hospital following a freak accident during a testing session at the Circuit de Catalunya circuit in Spain.
Badoer lost control of his car at the end straight of the Spanish circuit as he went straight into the safety barrier.
The accident was caused by a mechanical failure and after treatment at the circuit medical center he was later rushed to the Catalunya General Hospital at Sant Cugat.
An examination revealed that he had no specific injuries, however he will remain under observation in hospital through he is scheduled to return to Italy tomorrow.
