Anderson on way to Arrows
FORMER Jaguar technical director Gary Anderson is to join Arrows for the 2001 Formula One World Championship.
Anderson left Milton Keynes-based Jaguar as a part of Bobby Rahal's reshuffle when he was replaced by former Ferrari and McLaren man Steve Nichols.
Eddie Jordan confirmed that Arrows' chief designer Eghbal Hamidy will join his Grand Prix outfit and Anderson, a 49-year-old Irishman, will replace him at Arrows.
Arrows refused to confirm the deal will go ahead. A team spokesperson said: "We are not in a position to discuss any deal at the moment."
Meanwhile, Arrows hope to announce their driver line-up for 2001 in the next three weeks and have confirmed that the launch of the A21 will provisionally take place on February 20.
