Rosset staying on at Arrows

RICCARDO ROSSET, who has had a miserable season with Arrows, is to stay with the team until the end of the year. There had been speculation that the Brazilian would be dropped in favor of Formula 3000 driver Kenny Brack.

Brack was given his first test for Arrows after the French GP but now faces a series of F3000 races in quick succession and is unlikely to do more testing until after the F3000 series is over.

Rosset, who brought sponsorship for 12 races when he signed at the start of the year, has now confirmed that he will stay for the rest of the year and hopes to be able to find his feet a little more. The major problem up to now has been a lack of testing which has meant that he was unable to get to know the car and it was not being developed.

With Arrows now involved in an intensive series of tests for Bridgestone, Rosset is now getting the necessary mileage and his confidence is coming back after a difficult period.
