Mario Araujo de Cabral

Portuguese semiprofessional who ran a Cooper-Maserati in the 1959 and 1960 Portuguese Grands Prix and a private Cooper-Climax in the 1963 German Grand Prix. He also drove a reworked Derrington-Francis ATS on its last outing in an attempt to qualify for the 1964 Italian Grand Prix.

In the 1959 race at Monsanto Park he was involved in an accident which led to Jack Brabham spinning and hitting a telegraph pole. Brabham was thrown from his car and landed in the middle of the road but fortunately avoided being hit by the following cars.
