Boro

The Ensign N175 was a Cosworth kit car designed by Dave Baldwin and funded by the Dutch alarm system company HB Bewaking. It was driven by Gijs van Lennep, Chris Amon and Roelof Wunderink in 1975 and began to show well in Mk2 form. When the team fell out with the sponsors the car remained in Dutch hands and so Ensign had to build a new car. The old car was renamed the Boro and was run from a base in Amsterdam by driver Larry Perkins.

The team did selected races in Europe, kicking off at the Spanish GP in May. The car was reliable but not fast and Perkins failed to qualify at Monaco. After the Swedish GP Boro disappeared until the Dutch GP in August. The team's last race was the Italian GP and then Perkins was offered a drive with Brabham, standing in for Carlos Reutemann who had joined Ferrari to replace the injured Niki Lauda.
